Annual brake symposium:

µ-Symposium

TMD Friction organises every year an international, non-public brake symposium and this since 25 years. The approximately 250 participating brake experts come from the international vehicle and brake industry, universities, technical authorities and other institutions and last but not least from TMD Friction. Most of the participants are members of the so-called µ-Club which was founded in the late seventies on initiative of what is today TMD Friction, with the objective to provide a platform for brake engineers to exchange ideas. The event consists of presentations and discussions about brake systems and safety technology.
